[git-buildpackage] gbp does not recognize the newly merged & tagged upstream version

Just to clarify: It won't work until you have comitted the merge (in
case of a merge conflict). There's no need to have any other extra
commits on the debian branch.

Another possible error: The tag has to be reachable from master
(i.e. what you configured as upstream branch) - it does not need to
point to the same commit than master though.
